A human-centred design programme focused on understanding how the world works and identifying opportunities for improvement, from systemic change to small interventions. Interaction Design considers how people experience environments and interact with others through increasingly technology-mediated contexts. Rather than focusing on technology alone, the programme prioritises people and seeks to address real-life problems by improving interaction and communication between stakeholders. Taught at the School’s Highlands campus, the programme promotes a practical, hands-on approach to interaction design and explores how design can contribute to better experiences and outcomes.
