Microplastic Undercurrents —The Silent Coral Crisis
Microplastic Undercurrents delves into the insidious accumulation of microplastics in oceans and their devastating impact on coral reefs. These nearly invisible particles silently settle on corals, leading to malnutrition, tissue necrosis, and coral bleaching. This project highlights the parallel between the future impact of microplastics settle onto corals and their potential impact on human health.By showing the future scenario of corals, It raises awareness of the microplastic crisis in marine ecology to avert a silent but catastrophic future.
Deep into future Ocean
This installation will be exhibited in partnership with organisations in areas with high concentrations of microplastics and in coastal areas, attracting people who are willing to raise awareness of microplastic reduction and take action to make a difference, and guidebook will help you to make a difference to the future of the coral tragedy.
