An advanced postgraduate programme for fashion and textile graduates seeking to extend, develop and refine their design practice. Students specialise in either a textile/surface-led approach, focusing on print, embroidery, decoration and fabric structure, or a silhouette/shape-led approach, concentrating on garment form, cut and construction. Knitwear combines both approaches, considering fabric structure and garment shape simultaneously. Students develop their expertise through digital, physical or combined methods, with specialisation providing focus for their individual practice.
