I am a fashion designer interested in the relationship between identity, perception and emotional experience. My practice often begins with personal responses to music, imagery and contemporary culture, which I translate through silhouette, material experimentation and visual development.
I am particularly drawn to distortion, movement and unconventional forms, exploring how garments can communicate emotions beyond their functional purpose. Rather than treating fashion as a fixed image, I see it as a constantly shifting experience shaped by the body, the viewer and the surrounding context.
Through my work, I aim to develop a visual language that feels personal, experimental and emotionally direct.

Alien
This project begins with Hua Chenyu’s Alien, Hua Chenyu is a Chinese singer-songwriter whose experimental approach to pop and rock shapes Alien, a song centred on individuality, resistance and the experience of being perceived as different. not through its lyrics, but through the emotional and sonic structure of the song. I translated rhythm, bass and sound distortion into visual experiments, developing wave-based compositions that later became printed surfaces, sculptural panels and unstable garment forms.
The project also draws on Eric Staller’s long-exposure light drawing, using light trails, optical blur and movement to think about visibility. These ideas developed into lenticular and reflective surfaces, where the image shifts depending on the body, the viewer.
The final collection combines printed nylon, lenticular-inspired surfaces and translucent organza layers. Through folding, draping, stitching and inflated volume, the garments create distorted silhouettes. The body is not hidden, but reframed through surface, light and optical instability.
Low‑frequency components are extracted from the audio and visualised using professional software.
