Online Showcase 2023

We are delighted to be welcoming visitors from across our community and from industry to the campus for Postgraduate Degree Show 2023 to experience in person the creativity of this latest group of incredibly talented students.

Every year our Masters students create inspiring and ground-breaking work across our disciplines, much of it addressing key issues that we face as a society today. The postgraduate works across this year’s exhibition are no different, utilising a wide range of physical and digital media and addressing crucial key social issues including climate change, gender identity, autobiographical themes, post-colonial discourse, and sustainability. There is also a broad scope of works where emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and virtual reality tools support insight, inspiration and solutions to really important creative, medical, social and spatial questions.

This digital platform, the Postgraduate Showcase, offers visitors to the exhibition, as well as audiences across the world, the opportunity to delve even deeper into the work. It contains student-curated pages that offer insights into their work and practice, often beyond their physical degree show presentation. It also offers our graduating students the chance to group their work and practice by theme, meaning that digital visitors can explore a rich variety of works that respond to particular concerns, ideas or approaches of interest.

The Glasgow School of Art Postgraduate Degree Show 2023 runs physically across the Glasgow campus from 25 August – 10 September. I very much hope that you are able to join us in person (you are welcome to book a student-guided tour of the show from this site) or to take time to explore these pages online.
