Welcome to the School of Fine Art’s Postgraduate Degree Show.
Our MLitt Postgraduate Programmes operate across both professional and research contexts, to create artworks, events, exhibitions, talks and symposia. Artists, curators and writers in the making, come from all around the globe, with a multitude of experience and backgrounds, spending a single year responding to Glasgow and the intellectual and professional challenges their programmes create for them.
The showcase represents the incredible work of our graduating students, enabling them to present their ideas, working practices and artwork. This is an opportunity to see the work that the students have produced during their time here – their ambition is evident in the focused and committed work they produce that demonstrate their extraordinary and diverse interests and skills. These powerful cultural producers now go into the world supported by their peers and bolstered by the deep ties formed in Glasgow.
The digital showcase profiles three cohorts of students from the School of Fine Art: the work of the graduating Master of Letters (M.Litt) students in the following programmes:
- Art Writing
- Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art)
- Fine Art Practice
The Master of Letters in Fine Art Practice students work within three defined pathways; Painting, Drawing and Print Media, Photography and the Moving Image, Sculpture and Performance.
