Sweet Disguise: It’s Not as Healthy as it Looks
In today’s food market, claims such as “no added sugar,” “high fiber,” and “natural” frequently appear on packaging, strongly shaping how consumers perceive products. However, these messages are often misleading, leading people to make poor dietary choices without fully understanding the facts.
This project aims to improve young people’s label literacy, helping them critically interpret health claims on packaged foods, close the gap between health awareness and actual behavior, empower them to make healthier and more informed choices, and inspire more transparent and responsible food packaging design in the future.
