Pretty Little Rushmore
Presidents of the United States.
Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln are revered as America’s greatest presidents, embodying leadership and historical legacy.
This work reimagines them with beauty and cuteness, suggesting that even the most dignified figures deserve a softer, more beautiful side.
Carino Padrino
By reinterpreting the iconic image of the Godfather, Kama challenges its traditional association with hyper-masculinity.
Her work invites viewers to overturn preconceived notions and critically reflect on how masculinity is constructed and how stereotypes surrounding male identity are formed.
New Eyes
Kama uses portraits of her male friends as a basis, covering each person’s eyes with new cartoon-style large eyes.
This series of works challenges the stereotype in general artworks that “women must have weak and pitiful eyes, desperately needing male protection,” highlighting the tension between cultural expectations and personal identity, while prompting reflection on gender and vulnerability.
