2.∞.5 is a first-person psychological horror game developed as part of my Master’s dissertation at The Glasgow School of Art. Drawing inspiration from Hideo Kojima’s P.T. and fragments of personal childhood memories in 2005, the project explores how spatial composition, lighting, audio, and post-processing can evoke emotion and guide player experience under the constraints of a player-controlled perspective.
Set within a looping stairwell, the game unfolds over fifteen iterations, each introducing subtle shifts in spatial composition, lighting, and sound design. Symbolic elements—such as red high heels, spiderwebs, and shadows—layer meaning and unease, blurring the boundary between the mundane and the uncanny.
