My design philosophy embraces slow, meaningful fashion, rooted in personal narrative and emotional resonance. Inspired by my solitary walks in the rain, this project reflects my evolving relationship with the UK’s ever-present cloudbursts. People on the street here rarely carry umbrellas and seem to have long since accepted the constant presence of downpours. I used to dislike rainy days in China, but since being in Glasgow, I have grown to appreciate their quiet beauty, even finding serenity, freedom and a sense of unrestricted ease. Through wearable stories, I encourage others to rethink their relationship with weather, learning to accept, adapt, and uncover its hidden charm.
