Stretch Marks – Comic
— A comic about stretch marks, self-image, and quiet rebellion.
The comic told about the stretch marks on human skin, discussing in a humorous tone some reflections of a girl in adolescenceon, her body anxiety during her growth journey.
This is a semi-autobiographical comic that tells the story of the changes that stretch marks bring to the protagonist’s life, while also metaphorically suggesting society’s attitude towards appearance and appearance anxiety. In the end, the protagonist chose to accept the existence of the marks and treat them with a positive attitude.
