My design practice is rooted in people’s experience in space, from psychological to physical. I focus on the different needs of different people and hope to provide them with a more inclusive experience. I enjoy observing people, whether it is a mass or minorities as defined by the world, I believe they are all the same, because for me, everyone is a unique individual and deserves a space that meets their needs, and this is the starting point of my design.

ISLAND ECHO
In this project, I am observing people who are social isolates in the contemporary environment, people who are tired of socialising or are embarrassed, anxious, scared, etc., which leads to constant internal consumption, so I want to provide a situational place where people can build “weak tie” relationship with strangers and away from their stereotypical image and become more concerned about themselves. I never believe that a space has a strong healing power, but I do believe that the narrative, the atmosphere or the spatial organization of a space can have an impact on people’s psyche, and ultimately provide them with an unexpected experience.
