Xinyu Cai

Hello, my name is Xinyu Cai. I am passionate about medical visualisation. Over the past year, I have developed skills in reconstructing, modelling and optimising human and embryonic anatomy from real medical and anatomical data. I have also explored how interactive visualisation can be used to present complex anatomical information.

I particularly enjoy working with real-world problems and exploring how 3D modelling, medical visualisation and interactive technologies can provide clearer and more effective solutions. In the future, I hope to continue exploring the use of medical visualisation in clinical applications, medical devices and medical education, using visual and digital technologies to make complex medical information easier to understand.

EmbVis_Exploring Embryonic Anatomy Through 3D Visualisation

My MSc dissertation project is called EmbVis – 3D Reconstruction and Web-Based Interactive Educational Resource for Embryonic Anatomy. It is an interactive educational resource designed to connect real 2D histological sections with reconstructed 3D embryo models, helping learners better understand embryonic anatomy and spatial relationships.
