Conducted a Human Factors study of the Shark FlexStyle hair styling system to identify usability, ergonomic and safety issues through user observation, product testing, questionnaires and interviews. Translated research insights into a redesign of the auto-wrap curling attachment, focusing on improved airflow control, reduced hair entanglement and more intuitive interaction. Developed and evaluated a physical prototype with an extended barrel and refined geometry to improve usability, ergonomics and performance across different hair types.
