Modes of Remembering
Modes of Remembering explores how geological, embodied and synthetic memory shape what remains through time. Centred on an encounter between AI-generated artworks and King’s Cave on the Isle of Arran, the project considers remembering not as the preservation of fixed records, but as an ongoing process of transformation, moderation and translation. Moving between material, bodily and synthetic forms, the work asks how traces are retained, altered or lost — and what remains available to the future.
