365 Days on My Own is an illustrated concertina book based on my experience of living independently in the UK as an international student. It brings together ordinary, funny and sometimes chaotic moments from my daily life, such as grocery shopping, walking home in the rain, cooking, cleaning, resting and being disturbed by fire alarms. These small moments may seem unimportant, but together they show how I gradually adapted to living on my own and made a new daily life away from home. The continuous structure of the concertina book connects the beginning and the end, turning one ordinary day into a cycle that starts again.
