Lu Chen
Lu Chen is an artist whose work embodies the essence of restlessness, rebellion, and provocation. She specializes in sound art, performance art, and conceptual art driven by the manipulation of words. Her creations are often intensely conceptual, resonating with warnings and deep humanistic concerns. At other times, they are filled with metaphorical meaning under poetic narratives, or they brim with rich emotion and interactivity. Through her art, Lu Chen challenges perceptions and invites audiences to engage in profound reflection and dialogue.

What is it like to grow up ?
I imagined what it was like to grow up.
When I was a child, I slid down the slide happily.
At that time, I always longed to grow up. When adolescence
arrived, growing up and the years brought me the colorful icing on the donut,
with tears and crying, I tried to express it through beads.
We all know that once we have experienced what time
has brought to us, just like physical friction, we can no longer
sprint as happily, bravely and unscrupulously as we did when we were children.
