With a strong background in integrated innovation design, I focus on addressing complex social issues through collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches. I am passionate about leveraging co-innovation to create solutions that connect people with the world around them in meaningful ways. To me, true innovation is not just about creating something new; it’s about fostering deep connections between individuals, communities, and their environments. I believe the most effective solutions emerge when we challenge the status quo and embrace the complexities of the human experience.
I am currently interning with the Innovation Team at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Feel free to reach out and connect with me 😊
Getting Lost and Embracing Glasgow
In today’s hyper-digital world, the increasing reliance on technology has led to a phenomenon known as “digital placelessness.” This is where our interactions with urban spaces become more superficial, as they are often mediated by screens and digital tools, reducing the depth of our engagement with the physical environment.
“How might we create an inclusive urban walking exploration practice that integrates community participation and Glasgow’s cultural narratives to foster meaningful environmental interactions?”
“Lost & Embrace Glasgow” is a project dedicated to transforming walking into an inclusive and enriching urban exploration practice. By embedding Glasgow’s rich cultural narratives and fostering active community participation, the project aims to deepen connections between individuals and their environment. It seeks to challenge conventional perspectives on urban spaces and encourages a more engaged and connected experience of the city. Ultimately, this initiative strives to promote community cohesion, cultural appreciation, and environmental mindfulness, contributing to a more inclusive and vibrant urban life in Glasgow.
