Laura Hudson, RN

Laura Hudson is a Registered Nurse, medical visualisation specialist, and artist with a multidisciplinary background in healthcare, education, and visual communication. She completed the MSc Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy at the Glasgow School of Art and University of Glasgow, where her postgraduate work focused on 3D anatomical modelling and interactive visualisation in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic. Her practice combines clinical knowledge, anatomy, digital sculpting, and scientific communication to create accurate and engaging educational resources. In 2026, Laura received a Bronze Award from the Institute of Medical Illustrators for her 3D anatomical artwork, Ascending Anatomy: Plantar Perspective of the Foot and Leg.
