Jakub Mazurek
Game Developer & 3D Artist
My name is Jakub Mazurek, and I have always had a passion for history, video games and Virtual Reality. I am 3D artist specialising in environmental art and throughout my studies, I have honed my skills in 3D modelling, texturing and game design. I always aim to create pieces that captivate and tell compelling stories!
For my master’s dissertation project, I had chose to work on a brief with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The project is called ‘Stagecraft VR’ and it is a unique expereince, created for students within stagecraft and theatre production programmes, who may not have the access to practice tasks, such as the ‘Fly-System’. It is made with the Meta Quest 2 in mind, and use’s hand tracking!
In this page, you will find a variety of artworks I have created, not all of which are relevant to my dissertation subject. Some of the works were passion projects outside of my time at GSA.

Virtual Theatre: Teaching Stagecraft in VR
This video is my presentation for my master's dissertation. It describes the game I created, including how to play, how it works, and the results of the development process. It was created specifically for stagecraft and theatre production students, who want to practise using a 'Fly-System' at home.
A Virtual Reality Interactive Application created in Unity, the environment was re-created in 3DS Max and textured Substance Painter.
This project was created as part of my Masters project work, for a project that was researching how Virtual Reality can be intergated with stagecraft and theatre production training, for helping students learn the the ‘Fly-System’.
The project was advised by tutors and students of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Virtual Athenaeum Showcase 4
Post Soviet Room (Diorama)
A mini-ture version of the Post Soviet Room!
I wanted to challenge myself by making a miniature version of the Post Soviet Room that I previously created in a small diorama casing.
Created in 3DS Max & Textured in Substance 3D Painter.
This was put into Unity 3D (HDRP) and rendered.
