Inclusive food systems

“Empowering community initiatives for culturally relevant and equitable food distribution”

This project investigates how community-led initiatives can address the unmet needs in food redistribution and improve access to culturally appropriate food for marginalized communities. By examining the challenges and policy gaps within current food systems, the project aims to enhance service provision, promote social inclusion, and advance food justice. It underscores the importance of grassroots efforts in creating a more sustainable and equitable food system that caters to the diverse cultural needs of underserved populations, ultimately contributing to broader social equity and well-being.
