YI ZHOU(b.1997) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her art practice encompassed painting, installation, sound, scent, and writing.
Her work revolves around the alchemy and the process of the development of internal transformation, and through the study of Jungian psychology and modern animism, she links and transforms the natural and unnatural matter in the contemporary context, exploring how to coexist harmoniously in the context of preserving the individual. Uncertainty and ephemeral are the characteristics of YI ZHOU’s work, and she is creating a connecting port and a fresh exotic space through these two characteristics and concepts in her work.
