Black Swan, Red Shoes

The design inspiration for this series is drawn from “Black Swan” and “Red Shoes”. Both films explore the intense psychological and emotional conflicts faced by female dancers. “Black Swan” depicts Nina’s descent into self-destruction under pressure, as her repressed desires drive her to relentlessly pursue perfection. “Red Shoes” tells the story of Victoria, who is driven by her obsession with ballet to make tragic choices between artistic dedication and personal love, and this choice is symbolized by those red shoes that are both cursed and highly alluring. Both films focus on themes of sacrifice, control, and inner struggles. The design of this series also echoes these themes, expressing contradictions through various shapes, changing colours, and knitting techniques such as intarsia and pointelle, capturing the tension between ambition, self-identity, and desire.

本系列的设计灵感源自《黑天鹅》和《红菱艳》，这两部影片都探讨了女性舞者所面临的强烈心理和情感冲突。《黑天鹅》描绘了妮娜在压力下走向自我毁灭的过程，她压抑的欲望驱使她无情地追求完美。《红菱艳》则讲述了维多利亚的故事，她对芭蕾的痴迷迫使她在艺术奉献和个人爱情之间做出悲剧性的抉择，而这抉择便以那双既充满诅咒又极具诱惑力的红菱艳为象征。两部影片都着重展现了牺牲、控制和内心的挣扎。本系列的设计也呼应了这些主题，通过多样的廓形、多变的色彩和嵌花、挑孔等针织工艺技巧来表达矛盾，捕捉了野心、自我认同和欲望之间的张力。
