Folded Vessel

The project is inspired by the film The Danish Girl. It blends 1930s womenswear, chef uniforms, and shell structures. It takes shell textures, chef hat and apron shapes, and 1930s silhouettes and combines them into a cohesive design. The overall garment echoes the layered, overlapping form of shells. The color palette draws from the film’s muted background tones and the natural hues of shells. Drawstrings are added for adjustability, giving the pieces versatility and practical function. The project leans toward ready-to-wear style, with a strong focus on wearability and comfort for everyday use.
