Time Is Water
Time Is Water explores water as a metaphor for time, memory and emotion through experimental book design and typography. Drawing on Chinese poetry and its imagery of water, the project focuses on six forms of water: River, Rain, Tide, Waterfall, Snow and Spring. Each form represents a different temporal and emotional experience. Through spatial typography, image, rhythm and page sequencing, the book transforms poetry into a visual reading experience, exploring how the movement and qualities of water can communicate the continuous flow of time.
