Upcycled Womenswear

Drawing inspiration from Y2K retro‑futurism, the sci‑fi classic Logan’s Run, and Faye Wong’s avant‑garde cultural persona, this project interrogates modular and layered structural systems with paper and transparent TPU as core materials, employing glitch aesthetics to reconstruct fragmented digital ambiances typical of the millennial era. No stitching is applied; the entire collection is created exclusively with a label gun. Rooted in circular economy frameworks, the design maximises recycling of leftover scraps to achieve low‑waste sustainable creation. It also explores individual identity expression through flexible and inclusive structures. This practice synthesises retro‑futuristic architecture, digital visuality and eco‑conscious values to establish a refined contemporary Y2K design language.

本项目汲取了Y2K复古未来主义、科幻经典电影《逃离地下天堂》（Logan’s Run）以及王菲前卫文化形象的灵感，以纸张和透明TPU为核心材料，探索模块化与分层式的结构体系，并运用“故障美学”（glitch aesthetics）重构了千禧年代特有的碎片化数字氛围。整个系列完全摒弃了传统缝合工艺，仅使用标签枪进行制作。该设计植根于循环经济理念，最大化利用边角料，实现了低废弃物的可持续创作，同时通过灵活且包容的结构探讨了个人身份的表达。这一实践融合了复古未来主义建筑风格、数字视觉美学与环保意识，构建出一种精致且具有当代气息的Y2K设计语言。
