After Bloom

My design practice explores time, impermanence, and natural transformation, inspired by the quiet beauty of dried flowers. Rather than celebrating flowers in full bloom, I focus on their gradual fading, where I find resilience, memory, and a different kind of beauty. I use natural plant dyes derived from botanical materials to create soft, layered colors that reflect nature’s changing cycles. Combined with high-quality fabrics and techniques such as pleating and smocking, my garments evolve with the wearer over time. Following Zero Waste principles, every pattern piece is based on a square to minimize fabric waste. Each garment includes a product passport, encouraging long-term care and fostering a lasting relationship together.
