(He/Him)
Hello! I am a former M.Arch student here at the School of Art, graduated in August 2026. My projects and research largely revolve around sustainable design. My masters’ course capstone project utilizes mass timber to repurpose a blighted city center tenement and encourage renovation of the adjacent Lions Chambers.
Adaptive Re-Use of a Blighted City Center Block Utilizing Engineered Timber Construction.
This project serves to challenge wasteful industry standards by reprogramming a blighted city center tenement. The use of engineered timber, a lightweight, environmentally material, serves to streamline the construction process through prefabrication, as well as reduce its environmental impact. The design functions as an art collective, featuring resident artists, adjacent gallery space, and cafe contained in the timber addition.
