Almost Still consists of four small paintings arranged as a group. The calm landscapes and cool colours create a sense of quietness, while subtle shifts in colour and composition prevent the images from becoming completely still. The work reflects a state of recovery in which calmness has returned, but a slight sense of discomfort remains.
