Urbanisation can be seen as an enlarged version of the lawn. In the process of development, there are many conflicts between cities and the countryside. The use of land is mainly controlled by power, and farmers have very little voice in decisions about rural development. They are often in a passive position.
Today, most artists live in cities, and much art is created in urban environments. Our art exists within urban systems. Very little art comes from rural areas or is made for farmers. This makes me question: is art only a product of the city, and a privilege for those with money?
