The Glasgow School of Art invites you to the School of Innovation & Technology’s Postgraduate Degree Show Symposium 2026.
Taking place on Friday 28 August in the GSA Haldane Building, Hill Street, this year’s symposium offers a smaller, more intimate and carefully curated programme of presentations from Master students across the School of Innovation and Technology.
Throughout the day, students will share their final Master projects through a series of themed presentation tracks, bringing their research, design processes and emerging proposals into dialogue with a live audience.
The symposium will be organised around the School of Innovation & Technology’s four interconnected research themes:
- Place, Heritage & Culture
- Regenerative Environments & Economies
- Care, Wellbeing & Health
- Emerging Technologies
The symposium invites dialogue across urgent and imaginative questions concerning contemporary life, from health, care and technological change to cultural participation, ecological futures, place and more sustainable forms of living.
Visitors will be able to attend presentations connected to the themes that most interest them, meet the postgraduate designers and researchers behind the work, grab a coffee and continue exploring their projects in the accompanying Postgraduate Degree Show exhibition, located in the same building.

The School of Innovation and Technology at The Glasgow School of Art brings design into dialogue with technological, scientific, social and cultural knowledge.
