In a bid to enhance public awareness of peatland, I strategically selected Lenzie Moss, conveniently accessible with a mere 10-minute train journey from Glasgow, as the focal point of my research initiative.

Recognizing the need for restoring the peatland and a innovative approach to acquaint both locals and visitors with the stories of peatland, I conceived a novel solution: a series of stamps thoughtfully designed to illuminate the intricacies of peatland ecology during leisurely strolls.

This stamp collection has four components in designated zones at Lenzie Moss. As residents and visitors explore, they collect stamps on their postcard, progressing towards a complete set. In a concerted effort to augment the dissemination of peatland-related knowledge, each stamp installation site will feature an NFC sticker, enticing users to seamlessly access informative posters elucidating the significance encapsulated within each distinctive stamp.

I aim for this innovative blend of engagement and information to raise peatland conservation awareness widely and attract private funds for restoration.
