Sirui Hao

Before and after pursuing advanced studies in Design Innovation and Collaborative Creativity, my focus has been on community life and well-being through both personal experience and social observation.
My approach often involves a detailed analysis from a smaller perspective, concentrating on designing service systems and practical implementations.
This approach allows me to address specific needs and challenges within communities, aiming to create meaningful and impactful solutions.
By integrating insights gained from my studies with real-world observations, I strive to enhance the quality of life and foster stronger, more resilient communities through thoughtful and innovative design.

Colorful Time

The use of psychological measurement tools has become quite common in social and work settings, but we aim to explore more possibilities. Colorful Time seeks to use psychological measurement tools as an opportunity to facilitate interaction and communication through a photo-wall themed workshop. This workshop is designed to inspire older adults to envision their ideal life and enhance their sense of belonging within the community.

Embracing Procrastination

Procrastination is widespread, especially among college students. It is defined as the behavior of delaying tasks despite knowing the negative consequences. This often leads to a vicious cycle due to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional factors. However, it isn’t always negative. With self-motivation and external support, we can break this cycle and build confidence.

From a systemic perspective, my service is carried out through workshops and activities and involves three main roles. Universities and communities provide external influence, offering comprehensive knowledge and emotional value, while students make autonomous and proactive changes, including self-encouragement and seeking help, ultimately leading to mutual benefits from embracing and leveraging procrastination.

Among them, the workshop is a sustainable activity that uses visualization, concretization, destruction, and reconstruction, along with encouragement and praise, to help individuals better understand procrastination and self-awareness.
