Chance Encounter

Chance Encounter is a short Virtual Reality narrative driven game that explores the impact of user agency and movement on feelings of presence and connection to digital characters. It follows a brief narrative of the meeting of two travellers stranded in space that must communicate through simple body language and movement. Two versions of the game were created and tested, with one only allowing players to view the scene in 360-degree video, and the other allowing users to explore the space fully through movement.

This was developed in Unity for the Oculus Quest 2 Headset.
