Chinese, 2022 study in GSA, Mdes interior design. ‘My designs tend to focus on the fragments that exist in people’s lives, some of the phenomena we see in life, and these phenomena often make me reflect. Pay attention to observe people’s living state, psychological state, and what needs of different people for indoor space. In my design, I focus on experience and solve the problems faced by users. In 2022, my work will focus on how to use space to deal with the relationship between people, and how to make full use of space, so that people can get more experience in limited space.’
Communal space for ‘only child’
This project discusses how to reduce the sense of distance between people and increase social interaction in public space. By creating a friendly community space, the loneliness of only children working alone in other places can be alleviated. Since 2010, the population from other provinces and cities to Beijing has been on the rise, accounting for 38.5% of the resident population, and the majority of the population coming to Beijing from other provinces and cities is the working-age population, and the only child is the main component of the working-age population. People living in Hutong, different from the single apartment that emphasizes individual living mode, advocate shared living mode. They change the living status of the one-child group with the concept of sharing and opening, and form a new living space, which is composed of private space and community public space. This project investigates the psychological characteristics, housing needs, behavior patterns, living habits and living style of the only child, designs an open and free public space, solves the loneliness of the only child living alone, increases social interaction and encourages social interaction, Guide the only child to create more social life, through the communication between people and between people and things, to relieve loneliness and cultivate a sense of belonging to the community.
